The 30-day guarantee
A full refund is available within 30 days of purchase, for any reason. You do not have to justify it, and asking does not cost you anything. To ask, email support@adfender.com with the order number from your receipt.
The 30 days run from the date of your order, not from the date you activate. The guarantee covers the whole amount you paid, including any tax charged at checkout.
Try it before the window closes. Because a license can be bought now and activated later, it is possible to still be holding an unused code when the 30 days run out. If you are buying ahead, install and activate early enough to see AdFender working on your own PC while you can still change your mind.
It applies to licenses bought through adfender.com. A code obtained anywhere else — a reseller we have not authorized, a bundle site, a marketplace listing — is not ours to refund, and we would want to know about it.
How to ask for a refund
Either route works, and both reach the same order:
- Write to us at support@adfender.com from the email address you bought with, and quote the order number from your receipt — or simply forward the receipt, which carries every detail we need. You do not have to explain why.
- Or ask Fungies. Fungies, the merchant of record, also handles order and refund requests, using the contact details on your receipt.
If something is wrong with AdFender rather than with the purchase, describe it when you write and we will help if you would like us to. Troubleshooting is optional and does not affect your refund within 30 days of purchase.
What happens when we refund you
The refund goes back to the payment method you used, through whoever took the payment — Fungies or PayPal, depending on when and how you bought. Your receipt says which. How long it takes to appear depends on your bank or card issuer, not on us.
Your activation code stops working. A refunded license is cancelled, along with every other code on the same order, and on every PC that uses one of them, AdFender goes back to behaving as it does without one — it stays installed, and filtering stops. If you change your mind afterwards, you are welcome to buy again; we cannot reinstate a cancelled code.
After 30 days
Past 30 days the guarantee has run out, but we would still rather hear from you than not. Write to support@adfender.com and we will look at it — a duplicate order, a charge you did not recognize, or a license bought days before a problem we could not fix are all things we would sooner put right than argue about. Outside the window it is a decision rather than a guarantee, and we will tell you either way.
Canceling your order
The law where you live may also let you cancel, on top of the guarantee above. In the European Union, the EEA and the United Kingdom, consumer law gives you a withdrawal right of at least 14 days on a digital purchase, and nothing here can shorten it. Other countries have rules of their own.
Whichever gives you more, applies. Our 30-day guarantee is longer than the EU and UK withdrawal period, so in practice it is the one most people use — but it never replaces or shortens a right the law gives you, and nothing on this page asks you to waive one.
One caveat the law itself attaches, worth knowing rather than discovering: in the EU, EEA and UK the statutory withdrawal right can end early for digital content once you have agreed to immediate access and started using it. Our own guarantee has no such condition — it runs the full 30 days whether you used AdFender or not — which is exactly why it is the better of the two for most buyers.
If AdFender does not work as described
This policy is about changing your mind. It is not the limit of your rights if AdFender is faulty, not as described, or unfit for what it is sold to do — consumer law covers that separately, and no time limit here cuts it short. Write to support@adfender.com and tell us what it is doing.
Plans that cover several PCs
Current plans cover 3, 5 or 10 PCs, and an order is refunded as a whole inside the guarantee window: the order is returned in full and every activation code on it stops working on every PC that uses it.
We cannot return part of an order, and there is no partial refund for PCs you do not use. If a plan covers more PCs than you need, ask for the whole order back inside the guarantee window and buy the plan you want. There is no mid-year upgrade either: if you need more PCs later, buy another plan.
Card disputes and chargebacks
The charge on your card or bank statement is labelled ADFENDER.COM, though some banks also show the name Fungies alongside it. That is because Fungies handles the sale: it is the merchant of record for our orders. If you do not recognize a charge, write to us first at support@adfender.com with the order number from your receipt. Fungies, the merchant of record, also handles order and refund requests, using the contact details on your receipt.
If you open a chargeback or payment dispute, please write to us as well: many of the problems behind a dispute are ones support can fix. If the dispute ends with your money returned, every activation code on the order stops working on every PC using it. While a dispute is open, it is settled through the dispute rather than by a separate refund. We have never refused a refund inside the guarantee window and do not intend to start.
Try it first
The best refund is the one nobody needs. AdFender runs free for 14 days with every feature available, no card and no account, so you can find out on your own PC and your own sites whether it suits you before paying anything. Download AdFender and try it.
