What we make
AdFender works from outside your browsers rather than from inside one. A single install covers Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Opera and other supported browsers, with no extension to add and nothing to set up again when you switch. You can add other programs too, such as a mail client or a game launcher. The details, and the limits, are on the features page.
Why it exists
Ads crowd the pages you read, trackers follow you from site to site, and ads are sometimes used to deliver scams and malware. We think you should decide what reaches your screen. AdFender is built for people who want that without becoming experts: install it, and it gets on with the job.
What we promise
The app never sends us your browsing
Filtering happens on your PC, and the app never sends us the sites you visit, the pages you read or what you type into them. It does contact our servers for updates, filter lists and your license, and reports running totals of what it blocked; here is exactly what it sends.
No tracking on our website
adfender.com sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads nothing from third parties. Like every web server, ours keeps access logs, which are rotated automatically.
We don’t sell your information
We don’t sell or share your information with advertisers or data brokers, and we never have. The companies that handle it for us are listed by name.
